| Where I quiely trace the footsteps of my ancestors... | ||||||||

I started tracing my genealogy as a term paper project for a cultural anthropology class I was taking in college. The class ended, and I was hooked. Who were my ancestors? I didn't want to only know their names and birthdates, although at times I was grateful to find even that, I wanted to know the person behind the name. Why did they emigrate to the New World? What was life like for them in the Colonial Period? Did any of the men fight in the various wars this country has struggled through? These question plagued me then, as they still do today.

I am not a professional genealogist. Tracing my ancestry is an enjoyable hobby for me, not a profession. If you come across any mistakes or conflicting evidence within my webpages, please send me the information. I would be more than glad to fix my mistakes.
